SPEAKERS FOR 2016
Des Taayor - Mike is a well known lure angler whose specialities are fly-fishing for predators and jerkbaiting. He will speaking on the former on this occasion and has an impressive big fish list to his name to back up what he has to say.
ANDY LUSH - will be stepping out from behind the counter at the Friendly Fisherman to talk about lure fishing in general and his experiences in Europe chasing predatory fish that may not be so familiar to British anglers.
Dr. MIKE LADLE - is a well-known and well-respected sea angler who has caught a great many bass on lures. This time however, he will be talking about lure fishing for other saltwater species as well.
During the day, the following practical demonstrations and workshops will be taking place:
Fly-tying: Dave Eggington (a 'Today's Flyfisher' contributor) will be explaining how to tie your own flies for Pike and other predatory species.
Multiplier reel workshop: Mark Brand will be on hand to help out with your reel problems.
Jerkbait Construction: Wayne Fletcher will be available to demonstrate some of the finer points on making jerkbaits at home.

Probably the most popular feature of the day. This is the place to stock up on cheap gear or unload all that surplus tackle.
To sell your second-hand tackle from here, deliver it to the stall when you arrive with every item individually labelled. Use a tie-on tag stating the price required and an individual code number. Then supply us with a master list and we will do the rest. The LAS will charge 10% of the money taken which will go towards Society funds.
